Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-29

By creating a Jukebee account or using the Jukebee app, you agree to these Terms. Jukebee is provided by Yevhen Stryzh (individual, Ukraine). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Jukebee turns your ideas into AI-generated songs: lyrics, music, cover art and video clips. It stores the content you create and may send push notifications you opt into.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your sign-in method. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access due to shared credentials.

3. Acceptable use

You may not upload illegal content or malware, attempt to circumvent security, reverse-engineer or scrape the service, harm other users, or create multiple accounts to abuse free-tier limits. Violation may result in suspension without prior notice.

4. Content ownership & publishing

You own the content you create in Jukebee — the songs, lyrics, cover art and clips generated from your briefs — and may use, publish, distribute and monetize it, including on streaming and media platforms. Jukebee claims no royalties from your use of your tracks. We get a limited license to host, display and process this content solely to operate the service for you. We do not use your content for marketing, AI training, or any third-party purpose.

How your music is made, in plain words: Jukebee generates audio through third-party AI music providers. Your rights in a generated track are granted by us and rest on the rights those providers grant to Jukebee; within that chain we pass to you everything we receive. We do not guarantee that AI-generated output is protected by copyright in your jurisdiction, or that it is unique — similar briefs by other users may produce similar results. Server-side audio enhancement uses the open-source Apollo restoration model by JusperLee (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Your responsibilities when distributing: (a) mark the track as AI-generated wherever a platform or distributor asks (streaming services increasingly require this disclosure, e.g. via their AI-credit fields — honest disclosure is how AI music is accepted, not a penalty); (b) do not present the track as the voice or work of a real artist; (c) material you bring into a generation (a recorded melody reference, uploaded content) must be your own. For each track, the app can issue a License Certificate (PDF) with the track’s identifiers and file hash — attach it if a distributor asks for proof of rights.

If you publish a track to the Discover chart, you additionally allow all Jukebee users to stream it inside the app, see its title and cover, and see your @username, display name and avatar next to it. You can unpublish at any time, which removes it from Discover; copies other users saved before that remain in their libraries (listen-only — saved copies cannot be downloaded, covered or re-published).

5. Pricing, credits & purchases

Jukebee offers a free tier and paid options (a Pro subscription and credit packs). Generation features consume credits; an estimated credit cost of each action is shown in the app before you start it.

The final charge follows the actual generation cost. The estimate is based on the primary generation channel; the final amount is determined by actual execution — the serving channel (if the primary is unavailable, a fallback, including a pricier one, may serve; where the system can predict this in advance, you are asked to confirm the higher price first) and the volume of generated content. If the actual cost turns out lower than the estimate, the difference is refunded automatically; if a generation fails for technical reasons, its credits are refunded automatically. If the actual cost turns out higher and your balance cannot cover the difference, a credit debt is recorded and new generations pause until it is cleared by your next purchase or monthly subscription refill. A credit debt is an internal accounting value in credits only: it is never collected as money and is only offset against future credits.

Purchases are billed by Apple through your App Store account; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store settings, and refunds are handled by Apple under their policies. Bought credit packs do not expire.

6. Service availability

Jukebee is provided "as is" on a best-effort basis. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Vercel, Expo Push, AI providers) or force majeure may cause temporary unavailability.

7. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete my account; deletion is immediate and irreversible. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, using reasonable judgment and notifying you when possible.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Jukebee and its operator are not liable for loss of value due to service errors or AI output quality, loss of data due to account deletion or third-party outages, or any indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 30 days in advance; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
